To protect your account from hackers, never share the codes from your emails, only sign in at kollabium.com and keep your email secure because that's where your sign-in codes go. Your account is already protected by sign-in with an email code, but a lot of your security is in your hands.
The golden rule: never share your codes
Only you should know the code from your email, your sign-in link and your password. KollabiuM staff will never ask for your passwords or codes in chat, by email or through the "Care Service".
If someone asks you to send them a code "for verification", "to receive a gift" or "to unlock your account", it's a scammer. Don't reply, and report them.
Watch out for fake websites
- Only sign in at kollabium.com.
- Emails from KollabiuM come from addresses on the kollabium.com domain.
- Don't follow "sign in to KollabiuM" links in messages from people you don't know.
Protect your email
Your email is the key to your account: that's where your sign-in codes go. If someone gets into your email, they can get into KollabiuM too. Use a strong password for your email and turn on two-factor authentication in your email provider's settings.
Sign out on other people's devices
Signed in on someone else's computer or phone? Don't forget to tap "Logout" in the menu.
What to do if your account was hacked?
- Change your email password right away.
- If your account has a password, change that too: "Settings" → "Change password".
- Contact the "Care Service". If you can't sign in, you can still submit a request without signing in: on the "Care Service" page, tap "Can’t log in?".
