How to host a video conference on KollabiuM

You can host a video conference on KollabiuM, whether a webinar, a lesson, a club meeting, a project presentation, or a live session for your followers, starting with the Y plan or with a separate room package. A conference is an online meeting or live broadcast with video, a stage for speakers, chat, Q&A, and presentations.

Open "Conferences"

You'll find the "Conferences" section in the menu. When someone is broadcasting, a "Live" label appears next to it. Conferences are also available on a separate website, kollabium.live, using the same account.

Who can join a video conference

Anyone with an invite link. Guests don't need a KollabiuM account: they just enter their name, and sometimes confirm their email with a code, if the organizer has set it up that way.

Who can host a conference

To create your own conferences, you need one of the following:

• a plan that includes conferences: the Y plan or higher;
• a room package: you can buy one separately, without a plan.

If you don't have hosting access yet, the "Conferences" page will show a hint and a link to "Conference tariff".

What your plan gives you

The higher your plan, the more participants and speakers fit in your room, and the more recording hours per month and recording storage you get. Broadcast hours themselves are unlimited. You'll find the exact numbers on the "Tariffs" page, in the "Calls and conferences" section.

One rule applies to everyone: only one of your broadcasts can run at a time, and it ends automatically after 12 hours.

How to buy a room package?

If you need to host a large event or don't have a plan that includes conferences, buy a package on the "Conference tariff" page.

1. Choose a room size: for 100, 300, 500, 700, or 1,000 people.
2. Choose a duration: "Day", "Week", or "Month".
3. Tap "Buy" → "Proceed to payment" and complete the payment.
4. Come back and tap "Activate".

Each package includes up to 30 speakers, unlimited broadcast hours, and recording hours. You need to activate the package within 30 days of paying for it.

If you already have an active package and buy a new one, the time left on the old one will be lost. We'll warn you about this before you buy.

Members on the Z plan and higher get packages at a discount.
